History
Since 1957 the Chinese Studies of the Department of Asian Studies, Division of Humanities, School of Arts and Sciences, National University of Mongolia, has been preparing specialists in Chinese studies for 65 years.
Present actions
Currently the undergraduate degree programs in Linguistics (China), Foreign Language Translation (China), Foreign Language and Area Studies (China); the master’s and doctoral degree programs in Foreign Linguistics, International Area Studies, Foreign Language Education – Foreign Language Pedagogy and Translation are offered. Lecturers are also conducting study and research.
84.6% of lecturers, specializing in Chinese linguistics, ethnography, translation and foreign language education hold doctoral degrees and have led by their research work among Mongolian universities. We, scholars and researchers who have created dozens of research papers aim to meet the standards of similar international vocational schools.
