Dedicated to exchanging knowledge and information on activities and events in the field of Asian Studies
The “Asian Studies in Mongolia” is a platform of the Department of Asian Studies, Faculty of Humanities, School of Arts and Sciences at the National University of Mongolia (NUM). In 2015, the department together with the departments of Asian Studies of the Mongolian University of Sciences and Technology and the Mongolian State University of Education jointly organized the first International Conference on Asian Studies (ICAS). In 2021, we hosted the 7th ICAS. On the occasion of this conference, we officially launched the “Asian Studies in Mongolia” platform. The platform is designed to promote the research work of Mongolian and foreign scientists on Asian studies and to publish the results of their research works.
The “Asian Studies in Mongolia” platform is concerned with the Asian nationals, their cultures, languages, history, modern politics and economy. We will continue to expand the Asian studies research work and develop international cooperation as well.
