The School of Arts and Sciences at the National University of Mongolia is the main research and educational hub which engages with Asian Studies such as Sinology, Japanese, Korean and Turkish Studies in Mongolia. Therefore, we will strive to foster collaboration with other national and international universities and institutions that conduct research in the same fields and expand the scale and scope of our research strength.
The Department of Asian Studies has initiated the launch of the website ‘Asian Studies in Mongolia’ which is a timely and vital step towards enhancing its academic research. We hope the platform will be regularly updated and become the key site for sharing knowledge and information on the activities and events in the field of Asian Studies and discussing the relevant research and issues. In addition, I wish for the platform to expand into publishing an international journal of Asian Studies and organizing academic conferences through which the National University of Mongolia can increase its global prestige.
I would like to extend my best wishes for the development of the leading center for Asian Studies in Mongolia thanks for the joint efforts and dedication of the scholars.
